Can someone help me and my grandson please, I have introduced him to Doom2
quite by accident and now we are both hooked.  However we don't know the
rules and we are getting nowhere.  Obviously there are secrets we aren't
finding but we don't know how or where to look.  can anyone ...

Can someone tell me where i can find original wad file for DoomII, Heretic 1
and 2, Hexen 1 and 2.
I have only DoomI file. i play it with Legacy 1.41.

I've gotten the DSV PWAD Blackness from here:
http://dsv.newdoom.com/downloads.shtml But I'm not finding a way to launch
it.
I've tried the simple "doom2 -file blackness.wad" and "boom -file

i have just started using zdoom and i love it, but it seems that it only
recognizes iwads. how do i play custom wads, for example alien vendetta ?
also, is there a front end similar to doom and doom 2 or can i use doom to
launch zdoom.

I have a Athlon 1400Mhz (pre XP) processor and a GF2-GTSpro.. Works well
for everything that I have now but I am thinking of upgrading for Doom3..
So, do I spend all my money on a kick a.s GFX card or do I upgrade

I know that the consensus of the gaming community is that mouse and keyboard
is the best controller for Doom and other FPS PC games.  But I have never
had any skill whatsoever with mouse and keyboard.  I used a Panther XL for
years and did pretty well in deathmatch for an over 50-yr ...
