I went to id games ftp server and there are so many levels for Doom2 - what
are some of the better ones, any recommendations - are there any review
sites?? i am after levels which I can play with doomGL.

I used this program to test my Matrox G450, and it
scored a benchmark of 1448. The card plays most
games well, but not the Snow Fields episodes in MOH.

I'm having a problem with Invasion ][ wad. Level 18, the Yellow key area
(almost to the end). I get to the center of the area, take transporter to
other room, hit switches, transport back. The SW door is open,the elevator
goes down, but I don't go down with it, so I can't get into ...

I found that I could not run this unless prboom.wad was in the current
directory.  Putting it in the directory with the Doom wads didn't work.  How
can I specify where prboom.wad is located?  (My old config file has a
wadfile_1 option which doesn't seem to do anything.)

I have Doom II and if i turn the sound on it becomes all jerky and does not
work well.
If sound is off all seems to work smoothly.
I have XP Home on a Sony Vaio Laptop with Via AC97 sound.

I have done everything the readme said exept get zdoom which was opitional.
Whenever I go to install it does some wad loading process, and after that
doesn't install or anything.
If I do need the ZDoom file can someone give me a link to a site where I can

I know someone will probably say "look on the web" but I cant seem to
find anything.... is there a way or add-on (cant recall what they are
called...) that will run Doom II on WinXP, as well as wad files, etc?

Hi all, I love the orginal Doom gameplay, and I'm trying to get my copies of
Doom to work with Legacy 1.41b Win32, but it is not doing any 3d rendering.

i start the game, i see the  consolle like in Q3.

I downloaded one of my alltime favorite games-Final Doom, from ID. Software.
System requirements indicated that it would work with Win 2000. I felt it

Anticipating Doom3, I've been looking into upgrading
my video card. System is AMD 2000+, 1gig ram, WinXP
home, Matrox G450 ... basically a good home system in
good working order. Ran a video test ( 3DMark )

I once had it but couldn't get it working.
I have no computer knowledge and a dos version is no good to me.
