| Elves and food | 31 Jul 2009 15:10 GMT | 12 |
In my experience elves are often depicted as vegetarians. Though oddly they are never seen farming. They are also often depicted as great archers. Bows are one of the best hunting weapons ever invented. If elves don't eat meat or eat very little, why are they known as great

| Further D&D sacred cows being sacrificed in 5E D&D? | 31 Jul 2009 04:32 GMT | 272 |
In 4E D&D, the Vancian magic system was discarded. Also rolling for the hit points for both players and monsters, was also discarded. Which other D&D "sacred cows" do you believe will be further sacrificed in a future 5E D&D?

| Pathfinder Psionics? | 30 Jul 2009 03:11 GMT | 89 |
Are there plans for psionics being added to the Pathfinder system? With Pathfinder's final launch looming, I'm actually starting to get excited. But I'd like to add psionics into my next campaign. I'd also have to convert the Warlock...

| Sharn population density | 22 Jul 2009 11:19 GMT | 7 |
I vaguely remember reading *somewhere* that someone had done a break down of the population density of the City of Towers. About how it actually has a very high square footage of space per citizen. I just can't remember where I read this...

| Scabbard of quick drawing? | 22 Jul 2009 10:24 GMT | 6 |
Is there such a thing in the Magic Item Compendium? A scabbard that would let you draw a weapon from it as a free action?

| yet more thoughts on revising 3.5 | 19 Jul 2009 18:02 GMT | 36 |
I have a few more partly-worked-out ideas that capture some of my misgivings about 3.5, in the form of some design principles: Full-progression spellcasters are already very powerful and need little else besides their magical abilities, except something moderately

| Evil character joining the party with a paladin | 19 Jul 2009 17:10 GMT | 137 |
Obviously, the paladin will have issues with this. Whats the best way to deal with this, so as not to tick off the player bringing in the evil character. Because obviously, the paladin character cannot associate with an evil

| Alternate Weapon Design System | 18 Jul 2009 15:41 GMT | 3 |
I was looking for a firearms file on my hard-drive today when I stumbled unto the following. I have no memory of writing this. But it definitely is written by me. I spend far too much time thinking about weapons... :)

| anyone heard of such a magic item | 17 Jul 2009 21:15 GMT | 11 |
Does anyone know of a magic item in any 1e, 2e, or 3e book that creates alcohol? I'm looking for something like a weak decanter of endless water that only creates booze. Thanks!

Hey, everyone, back after some time away from rgfd! A good friend of mine has been running Savage Tide for about two years now. I would've loved to have joined right from the start, but we were playing Age of Worms and some other occasional stuff, and I really
