Is there a way to get a free CS account??? or maybe, r there any
servers that you can play w/o having a CS account???

Hi .. I've had this unique ping problem for sometime now and I couldn't
find an answer through all my searches ..
the problem is so simple, I have a 256kbps ADSL connection . My ISP has
a CS 1.6 and CS-Source game server.

CS:S has been running fine for me until I went on Hols, but since I returned
(July 6) when I try to use any of my favourite servers, the graphics look
like its  night time, very dark, black and white. Can't see any people. The
cross hairs and console are not affected. When I play ...

I always seem to have the netchannel info displayed in the bottom right of
the screen. is there a console command to get rid of this?

I see these have the same maps, are they compatible. Can I use the
non-Source version at my end to play with someone using the Source
version (the source version is so HUGE, and I lack some HD-space :-)
