Any server admins with a good idea on the how to get rid of hackers?
I am running a CS 1.6 HLDS with metamod/amxmod and Cheating-Death at the
moment but since installing C-D I don't get as many players online. I read
about SteamBans a little and I know VAC2 is close to completion, ...

Can someone point me at a CS:S server admin faq that is comperhensive.
Something that mentions how to enable vac2 would be useful too.

Most of the time when trying to Play CS:S
I can't get in to play.
I load up the servers.
Click join.

I have Googled this problem and have tried the various suggestions.
My problem is my friends get an error message about a "c" class lan
server when trying to connect to my game.
I don't have a router.

Presumably you need a copy of half life 2 to setup a counter strike
source server aswell as a copy to play as a client too( if they are on
diffrent machines) ?
For internet ganes you have to run dedicated server? The 'in-game' one
