I can't mute players in this new version. I mean I go into the player list
and nothing works: left-click, right-click, double-click ... nothing. Is
there anyway to mute nasty mute players (so their words stop appearing on
the screen)?

Few days ago Steam stopped loading my server-favorites.
The according file "serverbrowser.vdf" is still there and OK.
I tried the tips from Steam's trobleshooting-page, installed Steam
again, deleted serverbrowser.vdf, deleted ClientRegistry.blob, etc..

I haven't played CS in ages. Anyway, I've just got back into it and most of
the maps I try to play say that they "Couldn't CRC the BSP" (even the ones
where the maps certainly are in the correct folder).

I've been playin counter-strike a while back and saw condition zero in the
shop so I decided to get it, I've installed it and then when it comes to
puttin in the cd key I've put it in and it just throws up invalid key...
grrr Hope no bugger has my key and has messed up my copy of ...

I am experiencing a weird problem with both CS 1.6 & CS:CZ ; altough it
doesnt happen with HL² or CS:S
I have a PowerColor ATi Radeon 9600 Pro (256mB) and this one seems to
freeze after a little while everytime i play 1.6 or CZ. Even Though ATi

Thinking of starting to play CS. Have not tested that or HL before. Is it
possible to play single-player in CS force (to train with before i am
getting online) or must a get CS condition zero?

restricted to local clients (class C)".

I took my MX1000 back to the shop today after is misbehaved quite
regularly, with jitery mouse movemnets. I also found that the logitect
driver appears to apply a default acceleration curve to the output which
can't be turned off. Bad gaming as far as I am concerned.

...why, when I run my server, others can see it listed in the Steam thang,
but I can't? Wierd...
It's that srcds.exe thing, the source server, and it's running standalone. I
can see my server in the LAN section one my other machine, but never find it

I am finding I am usually the last to connect to a server when playing
CS:Source; it takes about 50 seconds to a minute when I double click on a
server, and also when a server changes map. This often means I miss out on
the pistol round. The delays are at the "receiving server ...

What is CS Source and how does it differ from the earlier version(s) of
Counterstrike?
I can't seem to connect to any Source servers.

Many cs players are also avid PvPers, its just in this type of gamers blood
to want to test their skills against other real human beings.
CS is a little limited in some ways, but in terms of skill, it does quite a
good job of seperating players.
