I am having a real big problem trying to connect to any server on steam
network. weather it be half life or DOD i can play the games in single
player mode easily but when i try to connect to a multiplayer game it just

I've got a SB Live! 5.1 and with HL2 and HL2-Counterstrike, no sound (and

I have tried but on trying to connect i just get the options to buy!

I just downloaded two Files fpr practicing purposes (tr_target.bsp and
tr_weapons.bsp), but I don´t know how to load these files with cs
1.6!?!
I tried copying them into the "maps"-Folder, but then I get an error

i've just upgraded a gigabyte with AMD & 2000+ to ASUS & 3000+, because
some capacitors were overheated and produced shortcut or sth else.
Bought a new harddrive too, to save all the mail and else stuff.
Both mainboards have onboard 100MBit ethernet.

Friend of mine is running dedicated a CounterStrike server here in Germany.
He keeps getting these messages in the console:
CreateFragmentsFromFile: 'downloads/8195865a.dat' doesn't exist.
CreateFragmentsFromFile: 'downloads/7b0f9e73.dat' doesn't exist.

 Any one know how to get the cheer to work? I have tried to re-assign the
key and still no "cheer" like the bots.

I used to play CS 1.5 a long time ago with no problems, but now after
upgrading to Steam and 1.6 I seem to encounter a problem which I am
unable to solve alone...
Everything works just fine until I change any of the video options,
