I'm running steam (CS 1.6), and every time I launch an fy_iceworld
game, I connect to the server, download the security module, and just
as the map is about to load, wham!, I get a Fatal Error "Warning:

There are several of us at the office that have been playing CS/HL Deathmatch
for months.  All of a sudden this one guy is invincible.  His kill rate can
excede 100 on certain maps in 40 minutes of play.  At times I/we can not kill

I visited counter-strike.net to find the latest updates/patches/maps,
and found their update wizard:

finally got to the download links, they were for 1.5 (no 1.6).

I want to shut down the voice when people talk sometimes. The old CS
w/o Steam you would just click of the speaker with your mouse, but for
some reason it doesn't work for me. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm giving AA a serious go.  Main advantage is that there are less cheaters.
Other advantages are better teamwork - you can report your position,
Friendly fire is ALWAYS ON (disadvantage to some but ...), avoid Steam
hassels.  Like CS and DoD the game grows on you.  Main ...

what are people's favourite team killing strategies? i just wiped out the
entire team by dropping two he grenades at the spawn point while the dumb
c.nts were just standing there. lol.

Which do people prefer?  I think Counterstrike is a crock of f.cking shite
and Day of Defeat is loads better.  I know Counterstrike seems to be much
more popular though, f.ck know why.
