Hey gang, I just reinstalled CS on a new computer and for some reason
everytime I ESC out of a game, the screen becomes fragmented into 2 pieces
and I can only select "JOIN GAME" or "CREATE GAME."  I end up having to
CNTRL-ALT-DLT out of it each time and then rebooting CS.  This is ...

I have a firewall in front of my internet connection - this is a real
firewall, not a router.

Anyone know how to get CS 1.5 running in 32 bit colour with a ati 9700pro
and Catalyst 3.7 drivers? theres no open in the drivers themselves, and
adding the -32bpp switch to the game shortcut doesnt work.

Wondering if there are a command you can write while you are playing online,
that makes you see the ip-adress of the server. I know you can see it when
you join a server, but it would have been nice to see it while I play. For
example when a friend wants to join, and needs the ip.

After I started playing CS 1.6, I quickly realized that the mouse
sensitivity settings are NOT the same as the 1.5 version of the game. What
felt comfortable to me in 1.5 (sensitivity 5.75) seemed quite sluggish and
slow in the 1.6. I also tended to use a higher sensitivity (7.0) ...

hello, i have a problem with my sound in counter-strike. Recently, the sound
started going "slo-mo" on me...this only happens in counter-strike and only
when I play online games...when I first start up cs, the sound is normal,
but once I join a game, the sound goes slo-mo and deep.. ...

I constantly get the same error. Your map blah.bsp differers from the
servers.
Now before ya yell at me for being a nub, I play on Two servers ran by the
same person. They don't change the maps. 75% Stock maps and the rest
