My wife loves playing Civ 2 even though I have tried to convert her to
Civ4
However the Civ2 CD has an error which causes the game to crash and I

I know that this is a topic thats about as played out as it gets but I
just started playing Civ 3 on regent level after having finally had a
few consecutive victories on warlord level. I  build a city put walls
up and a barracks at the beginning of the game and have a veteran

I tend to try to play at roughly even, meaning I
hope to win between 1/5 and 1/10 of the time.
I suppose it might be fun to play easier and
see how many times you can win in a row.

Ever had your first settler eaten by a bear while
looking for a better start?  I don't mean the 1st
settler you make, I mean the one you get on the
first turn.

Is it possible to customize Civ III or IV to use leaders other than
the defaults?  I'm thinking, perhaps, using Eisenhower or Theodore
Roosevelt to lead the Americans, or perhaps Frederick the Great for
the Germans.

I want to make a unit that finishes projects.  Anyone have any
experience doing this?
I had a unit that would do this in Civ3 vanilla just by checking the
"finishes projects" box.  And then I set one up in Civ3 Conquerors,

Why is there not a Civ4 newsgroup yet?  I've been a fan of newsgroups for a
long time now, but never knew anything about their creation.  Does anyone
