| Civ 4 is a Memory HOG! | 30 Nov 2005 04:19 GMT | 88 |
I have been monitoring my Task Manager while playing Civ 4 for the past couple of days. I started this after noticing an ENORMOUS amount of primary drive accessing when doing the SIMPLEST of tasks in the game. Like moving a unit from one location to another using the "Go

| Civ 4 MP settings | 29 Nov 2005 23:45 GMT | 1 |
how can I change the difficulty settings for the AI? there's a setting I think called simultaneous turns, I found this to be a pain in the butt when at war with someone, if I uncheck it do I have to sit around and do nothing while the other human players play?

| Civ4 questions | 28 Nov 2005 21:45 GMT | 12 |
If for example you capture the Buddhist holy city late in the game, but there are no Buddhist monasteries and they are now obsolete (and therefore unbuildable), is there any way to spread this new religion among your cities? By this point I'm usually "Free Religion" but the

| Different rally point for naval and air units would be nice | 28 Nov 2005 01:08 GMT | 4 |
While there is a handy way to direct all new land units to a rally point, those naval and air units would just sit in the cities. And rebase 20+ air units to a single location is not fun. Would be nice if the next patch gives us a mean to set rally point for naval and air

| Problem with workers in Civ 4 | 27 Nov 2005 07:00 GMT | 2 |
I installed the patch (maybe a coincidence) and now all my workers lounge round my capital, all unwilling to do any work by me automating them (and I'm not going to manually manage 20 fast workers). Anybody know what I have done, and how I undo it?

All mounted units eventually are upgraded to gunship. However, gunship has the horrible handicap that it cannot get the benefit of roads/railroads. So it becomes the slowest units in friendly territory. While a gunship is the only units that can move 4 tiles (without

...how a city's population of foreign nationals contribute to its chance of defection? Having destroyed the Egyptions between us, I'm now about to attack the Celts. The first of my targets are former Egyptian cities which will likely

| Attn: Alex 10AD | 24 Nov 2005 19:29 GMT | 2 |
My first couple of galleys, however, are rushing defenders to Eindhoven. But hit return and...Oops, Eindhoven falls one turn before they arrive. Should have rushed a spear *in* Eindhoven while I had the chance. Nevermind, those defenders can become attackers at
