CIV4 - Battle predictor31 Oct 2005 19:51 GMT1
In the strategy guide it mentions a way of getting the game to predict
a battle before starting it.  How do you do that, can't find it
anywhere ingame or manual.
Thanks
Civ4 2nd Impressions30 Oct 2005 00:12 GMT5
After having the game crash and having my computer restart 4 times I got the bright idea to check on any updated drivers for my Nvidia GeForce4ti4600 video card. There was one so I downloaded it. The game then ran the worst it had since I started playing it. The movies were all ...
Civ 4: My tech tree is in French?30 Oct 2005 00:08 GMT8
I just picked up the pre-order edition of Civ 4 (US edition, with the 2
CDs).  Unfortunately the poster that contains the tech/religion/government
trees is written in French rather than in English!  I think that there must
have been a snafu in the packaging, and perhaps I got one ...

civ3 conquests22 Oct 2005 17:02 GMT2
Ive had Civ3 Conquests for a while but have only starting playing some
of the special scenarios recently.  In the middle ages scenario, I've
been playing the Byzantia, and recently Venice rebelled to join us, and
they had the shroud of Turin at the time.  However, every time I try ...
exicited about civ420 Oct 2005 16:08 GMT14
cant believe how exicited I am now, i have a real sense of anticipation.
Is the 28th still the date for the UK ?, i have ordered from play,
although they reliable and cheap they dont have a good reputation when
it comes to shipping new releases quickly.
Looking as good as Civ 2 was18 Oct 2005 11:39 GMT9
My anticipation is rising for Civ 4, it is starting to look like a truly
great game as Civ 2 was.
I hope there is still a need to explore the world, as in Civ 2. For example
exchanging world maps is not such a vast part of the game, there is a

Has anyone had any problem not being able to save a game.  It seems that I
can't load a game I started before any suggestions?
problems17 Oct 2005 00:39 GMT1
Have you recently upgraded your version, or installed a patch? Doing that
tends to make all previously saved games unreadable in the newly upgraded or
patched game. Uninstall the upgrade or patch, that's all I can suggest.
Anyone else?

Strategy for Large Bordering Neighbor10 Oct 2005 12:29 GMT3
In my current game one of the civs has been stomping on everyone.
This was helpful early when a few of the bullies where picking on me.
Now I worry because they are getting big.  It is medieval times and
they are the Ottomans.  So once Calvary arrives they may be
