| Re-loading: where are hall of fame files? | 27 Feb 2005 11:30 GMT | 3 |
I have just re-loaded everything from Windows upwards. I want to re-load Civ 3 (of course) but don't want to lose my hall of fame data (it has - for me - some impressive stats on it). Where do I find the files? Is is just the file called Highscores.cv3 file?

| Abandon city | 25 Feb 2005 19:53 GMT | 3 |
How the * do I abandon a city in V Civ 3? often late in the game I end up with too many cities (corruption problems) and it would be nice to get rid of (sell improvements first etc) some of the ones which were in OK locations in the early game but later on are just too

| Civ3 | 22 Feb 2005 19:53 GMT | 3 |
After all this time I've just started playing PTW although I've had Civ3 a couple of years. It's crap. I went back to Alpha Centauri to make a quick reminder comparison. Civ3 doesn't come close. They should rip up the route they're going down and use the SMAC model. It's 10 times ...

| Someone please tell me the rules on deposing cities | 20 Feb 2005 14:50 GMT | 13 |
I am really fed up with capturing a town, starting to starve it out to ethnically cleanse it, leaving a garrison in there, only to see the people depose the rightful leader and go back to the opposition - wiping out my garrison in the process.

| see the whole playing field | 20 Feb 2005 07:00 GMT | 16 |
I just made the switch from Age of Empire II to Civ III and I do not regret it. Just one question: When starting out as newbie in AoE I could turn off the 'darkness' of the non disovered playing field and see everything. It was a good help to play a few games like that when

Are the two science wonders cumulative like in Civ2, or do they have to be built in separate cities? (I know I could find out by trying, but it would take a while to do so.) It is odd that the game makers are so very coy about the tech tree, and the

| C3C Forbidden Palace | 14 Feb 2005 20:11 GMT | 7 |
I haven't played Civ3 for a while but recently started again with Conquests. I'm having a blast with the Rise of Rome scenario, but the Forbidden Palace doesn't seem to be working properly - there's still corruption and wasted shields in the FP city and those nearby.
