| AI on Regent? | 29 Aug 2004 18:06 GMT | 6 |
I am playing my first game on Regent. I know it might not be that be a deal for people who are at diety but I'll be there some day. Two Questions: 1.) 4 other civs and I are kinda big (25 or so cities) and France is on a little bitty island with at most 10 cities. It's 1856AD. How ...

| What is the difference in these game versions | 29 Aug 2004 15:45 GMT | 8 |
I have Civilization III. Enjoy playing it but let's be honest... after 3 or so years of playing the game in one fashion or another it's gotten a tad stale. Still enjoyable but kinda stale. I looked at the umpteen different offerings on the store shelves and

I just finished my first Epic Conquest last week. During the game I had a Mayan gallery attack one of my cities. I am still confused about that one. The gallery lost all its hit points during the attack. What am I missing here?

Played a game on a giant earth map recently. Got to Austrailia first, and filled it with cities. However, production was limited to 1 shield, with all other shields wasted. Rushed a courthouse, and was under democracy, so how could I have improved

| Two questions | 21 Aug 2004 14:22 GMT | 7 |
1. I'm in the final push to a domination victory, and have just switched to Communism, after holding out in Democracy for as long as I could. This is the first time I've used this government in Conquests, and I expect to remain in it for the rest of the game, which will be many ...

| Resources & Luxuries Number and Distribution | 20 Aug 2004 18:06 GMT | 2 |
Is there an optimum number of civs and a map size mix that will give you the best chance of getting a decent number of luxuries and, throughout the game, resources?

| I tried it on Diety and lost | 19 Aug 2004 17:44 GMT | 5 |
Ok, I tried and I failed. What did I do wrong? I set the game as Deity/Standard size/Pangea/5billion year old/Americans After some 8-10 restarts I've got a good starting location which I liked. Two cattle in the capital city radius, plenty of bonus grassland and a river.
