Ok, here's a question I don't see in the threads [though I'm sure it's been kicked around before]. What Wonder do you consider the most advantageous in Civ3? What Wonder do you consider the most useless?

Please, forgive this newbie question: I have a spy succesfully planted in an enemy's capital. Now, how do I spread some propaganda in another city? Can I insert a second spy or do I relocate the one I have? In either case,

After a year or so decided to try another civIII.. points against it are still (with PTW and Conquests installed): * enemy archers winning from musketman on regurlar basis. * your cavalry getting murdered by enemy spearman all the time.

I built my city and, on the second turn, moved my scout 2 spaces north where I noticed that an enemy civ already had a spearman in his city! How did he do that? You can't rush build this early on and he couldn't have built it that fast.

I have a few questions about CivIII. First, this has nagged me since I began playing CivIII vanilla. In the box on the bottom right corner, after your country's name and government type, what are the three numbers in parantheses?

| SURVERY: Absolutely Mandatory "Optional" Techs | 25 Jul 2004 15:55 GMT | 5 |
I was wondering what optional techs you ALWAYS go for? Sanitation is probably the optional tech I go for the most. Gotta love those hospitals!

I'm a chicken, or else there are some crucial things about Civ I never understood. Even though I research almost all techs and build everything that can be built in almost all my cities, win the space race or achieve a cultural

| Optimal City Placement | 24 Jul 2004 17:14 GMT | 9 |
What is the optimal distance between cities? I've always played it so that there's 4 spaces between each city, so that my cities aren't stepping on each others' borders and stealing resources from each other. However I read an article last night on CivFanatics that

| Newbie question about city growth | 24 Jul 2004 07:43 GMT | 4 |
I'm playing my second Civ3/Conquest game. I've read the manual, but there's one thing that I cannot figure out: Why is it that my towns (6) sometimes won't grow into cities (7), even though they have full food boxes and surplus food production? Next

| Lop-sided deals | 24 Jul 2004 04:36 GMT | 6 |
Hey all. I have Civ3+C3C+PLY and there is one thing that bothers me: lop-sided deals. It seems that the other civs always want more than I get from them, even on the early levels. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks
