Back-Up Copy31 May 2004 17:20 GMT1
I have been having trouble making a back-up copy of Conquests. Anyone have
any tips. CD-RW or CD-R. Or maybe more MB's. I used an 800MB which should
have been plenty.
Terraforming in Civ (3)31 May 2004 10:56 GMT6
Ok, I seem to recall in Civ 2, you could repair (terraform) land, making
deserts to plains and plains to grasslands, etc. I used to rebuild land
that way in Civ 2 if it was effected by global warming, or was naturally
that type of land from the start. In Civ 3, was that taken ...

I started a new game about a week ago and decided to try something
different.
First, I went back to Warlord level (I wanted to be sure I had a fightiing
chance of winning).  Since I've always wanted to play each civ at least

HELP: what a pain the middle level is!28 May 2004 16:49 GMT19
I can't recall the name of the setting, but it's right after warlord (starts
w/ a "R"). Anyhow, every time I start off. It seems good, but damn those
computer characters! They have this huge army to wipe me out, and in the
process I trying to build an empire through, wonders, army, ...
Elite Units and Leaders28 May 2004 05:25 GMT16
I've downloaded a patch for Civ 3, ver 1.29f. after playing it a while,
I noticed that when an elite unit wins a battle for the first time,
there's a chance that you can name it, and a leader is created. Can this
renamed elite unit still create leaders by winning battles or was ...

Difficulty Levels23 May 2004 19:38 GMT328
Hi again, Guys,
Just wondering what difficulty levels do you think are the best ones to play
on, and when does it stop being fair, and put the advantage well and truly
in the computers hands?  I like to play Civ, but don't want to have a too

C3C, Land Transports, and AI17 May 2004 05:25 GMT1
I know that in Civ 3 and PtW, the AI would refuse to use a land transport
unit (example: a jeep unit that carries 4 foot units).  Does anybody know
if this was corrected for C3C?
Mac Civ3 Editor15 May 2004 01:35 GMT7
Unless I'm blind, my Mac version of Civ 3 didn't come with an editor. I
downloaded Civ3Edit.. it runs, but when I do anything all I get is
something like this:
Assertion failed, file: Civ3EditView.cpp, line: 2510
Pages: 1 2 April, 2004
