Long time lurker and Civ player, but first time poster here. I've been
trying several victory point scenario's on C3C and am confused about
obelisk scoring.  Here's what I found out so far:
Your must occupy a square next to an obelisk to gain victory points,

Just took out the Persians. I stacked ten muskets at each of their five
cities (major overkill, but those fortified spears put up quite a fight) and
took them out in two turns (not counting buildup and deployment, all that
took maybe ten turns)

In the end of my recent game (unpatched C3C) three of us survived:
Greece, China and me. I signed MPP with Greeks, and tried to plant
a spy to Chineese. They declared war on me. Well, the turn is mine,
so I captured 6 Chinese cities immediately.

I'm looking for the latest patch (1.29) with a no-cd crack.
I have yet to find a single working link which points to the download file.
Please, if you know, and only if you do, please state a valid link to this version
or other versions as well.

I have a legal Civ3 Gold edt. + C3C at home.
Having the CD in its drive causes me a great headache.
Is there any patch/crack which enables C3C to be without the CD?
