First, am I able to sell any improvement? Or are certain improvements

Hi.  Im pretty new to the whole Civilization series.  Im currently playing
Civ3.  I was wondering how do you get a leader?  I've never accomplished
that before and I was wondering how you get one??
Also any helpful tips for a beginner like myself would be helpful.

1.29f. I haven't had any problems until now. When I host a game and
everything is ready to go and I launch the game, it gets 'cancelled'.
What's the problem?
It started after I downloaded a few things. I can't play PTW anymore!?

In Civ 3, when you build the Great Library Wonder, you get a "free"
scientific advance if two other nations have discovered it.  However, this
seems to happen only once.
It's a long time since I played it, but I'm sure in Civ2 you got the advance

square, it still produces 2 food units, whereas irrigating a plains square
increases the food from 1 to 2. Other than making a path of fresh water to a

First time I have "automated" workers in the beginning
of the game. so, I've never seen this happen before.
City expanded ...workers worked...then workers stopped working.
I chose "Automate this city only" ( again) they sat there and IT WAS

started a new game and decided to use automated workers. I noticed an
error in AI logic that now that I think of it I've seen on computer
players maps also.
After discovering engineering the workerts can sart to plant forest. One

Not sure what else they could add - maybe more culture specific
wonders (local) and advances?  Maybe terrorist events (demoralize your
culture - set it back)?

How come when I'm Scandanavia and I'm in a world with only Japan and China I
end up on the
same continent as them?
