Does anyone know the exact effects of this wonder?  The effects that I know
of:
*Doubles combat strength against barbarians.  I assume that this is +100%.
*Doubles the effect of walls.  This presumably means that walls have a +100%

I hope this post helps all of you who have been experiencing problems
running Civ 3 on a XP system with Nvidia FX5600 video cards. Basically
it is all down to the monitor type believe it or not. You MUST have
the proper driver for your monitor installed rather than the default

Why do my workers keep dismantling my mines and replacing them with
irrigation. Is there any way you can set their parameters. I know you can
control them manually but that gets really tedious when you have loads. Has
any one any suggestions?

What's with the drafting? I read somewhere to hit "D" in the city screen to
draft a citizen into the military. But hitting "D" doesn't do anything. What

I know if a peace treaty still has turns to run and you make a military
alliance against that civ you take a reputation hit.  What if you just
have peace because  nothing's changed e.g. you look at active agreements
and see "you get:peace treaty  they get:peace treaty" with no ...

I've been playing Civ3 for quite a while now. It's a great game with
good graphics and very addictive.
However as of a couple of months ago, I started getting random crashes
while playing the game; usually the screen goes black, the computer

My computer crashed - so I reinstalled Civ3 - but I cannot find the
no_cd patch for 1.29f. (Civ3v129f.exe)
I do not really care to "play the world" - I just want to play the
game like it used to be.  I am not sure if this is the right patch -

Is there any reason why the endgame reply does not work on me?
The screen comes up but nothing happens if I press play or next.

I have just bought PTW and installed it. Further I have installed the 1.27f
patch.
Problem is that it seems like it needs a sound file simply to start a new
game - I press "new game" and this message that a sound file is needed

Is there a possibilty to have two leaders at same time.
I'm using the first leader generated to build an army. After it has
been victorious I build heric epic and very quickly out pops a new
leader.
