Badge for bug finding: a myth or reality?30 May 2006 22:03 GMT4
Since early 2005 (the beginning of the CoH EU beta) I'm regularly
finding and reporting bugs. But I have not been awarded the badge for
finding bugs yet. Does it really exist or is it a myth? Or is it not
being awarded on the European servers?
How's PvP doing on US servers?30 May 2006 16:52 GMT2
My experience with PvP on the European servers is that almost noone is
regularly doing it in either the arenas or in the PvP zones. But if the
community guys in the official EU forums make up a "PvP event" the zones
are jam packed with players. Of those many can be categorized as ...

Lured by the dark side...26 May 2006 14:19 GMT8
Welp, I officially gave in and bought CoV this week...  Was wandering around
looking for a long SATA cable with a 90-degree connector on one end (which,
BTW, is pretty much impossible to find anywhere but online), and there was
the CoV Collector's Edition, complete with sale tag ...
Auto Assault impressions (for anybody interested)23 May 2006 10:19 GMT6
Ok, so I got the 2 week trial for Auto Assault, and I'm now a week into
it...  So far it's rather fun, but really just mindless "drive n shoot"
action, for the most part.  It has some good points and bad points, and some
of the good points would have been great to see in CoX.  ...
CoH/CoV: Subscribe on the cheap w/ Amazon21 May 2006 17:48 GMT3
Amazon.com is offering CoH/CoV gamecards for $21.27 each.  That's a
30% savings over list price; it's even considerably cheaper than
subbing to CoH at the *yearly* rate.  ($10.635/mo as opposed to
$12.50/mo.)  Order $25 or more worth of stuff (for example, 2 gift
Mastermind Ninjas20 May 2006 12:22 GMT1
I just got my mm Ninjas high enough to get the Jounin --great stuff I must
say. It's nice that he can go invis on his own, course I got grant invis so
I can keep them all invis as much as possible anyway.
The real stunner was seeing him do a crit. Then a second later he did a
Cov 1st Strike Force issue (Virgil)19 May 2006 16:21 GMT27

mish? I mean WTF? 4 of us tried it today & it became obvious 1/2 way through

Scourge too powerful.17 May 2006 22:42 GMT7

enough.

Nameban policies04 May 2006 21:04 GMT7
Some online games have a nameban policy in that if you name your
character as anything in a predefined list of "Off Limit" names, the
character will be subject to deletion.  That is somewhat sensible, but not a
good customer relations mindset.  Some games will ban the player if ...
The Call of Home04 May 2006 12:34 GMT28
Huh. I'd seen references to people drifting back to CoH from CoV but didn't
really pay attention.
As interesting as I find the new spaces, places and worlds of the Rogue
Isles, and as much as I like finding something completely new and different
