When you start a new chapter do the quests you currently have get
erased, or can you start working on them in chapter 3. See I'm on
chapter 2, and I want to forget about the cult of the eyeless quest
until chapter 3. Will that work?

It's just called "Scroll," nothing else, so it's hard to google for.
But I haven't been able to find out anything about it.
Can't remember where I found it, sorry!
It just has gibberish in it, won't go in any slot except inventory.

I plowed my way through Chapter 2 on the weekend, finishing all the
possible quests I could think of...my characters are around level 12
now, more than enough for Brynnlaw.
I've installed the "ease of use mod", "improved irenicus" and "improved

There is supposed to be a book with description of all BG2
spells (a BG2 manual?). A "real" book, not the PDF.
Does anybody knows its title / publisher / author / where-to-buy
/ ... ?

I think that BG2, more than any other game (perhaps save Floyd in
"Planetfall"), has made me actually care about the NPCs and their
motivations. great voice acting, great dialogue, behaviour driven by
your own actions. In most RPGs I want to create my party and maintain
