I'm having trouble installing BG on a new Windows XP box.  When I
insert the disk, I get a menu as usual.  Nothing seems to happen after
I click the install button.
Does anybody have any ideas what might be happening, or how I can

Surgeon. When talking to Lusselyn there I get no option to answer and no
button to end the dialogue. Game locked. Anything I can do besides

I'm most of the way through my first playing of BG1, and I'm using TuTu -
and as I'm a busy, busy guy, I'm using a walkthrough simply to be able to
enjoy this fine game and story (and not miss anything!) as well as finish it
in a reasonable amount of time.

I started a new game with Tutu and arrived in Beregost. Just had Kagain
join and tried to go back north. On arrival in the area the game
crashes. Tried going to FAI and south, same thing.
Have Tutu v4 w/ fixpack v5. Emptied cache and temp already, didn't help.

Currently, I've got the Happy Patch, Nalia romance mod and the flirtpack
installed in that order, and now it seems that Jaheira just speaks out
Nalia's lines when I try to flirt with her, as well as she just suddenly
blurt out what I suspect to be Nalia's lines just then. Is ...

Is it possible to make an item that only the main character can use it?

Or is there a mod that will allow me to do that? Thanks.

I finished playing BG2 SoA and ToB recently (SoA was a replay, ToB a
first run) and I'm now playing through BG1 for the first time.
I'm playing as a Paladin, which is how I did my play of BG2. My final
BG2 party had:

Viconia just recently changed her alignment from evil to neutral.
Unfortunately, my save game crashes when I try to leave the pocket
plane.  I may go back to an earlier saved game; it's not too far back.
But I have 2 questions.  Other than the end game, is there much left

This will be my third time through BG2 and second through ToB and was
wondering if anyone had any tips as to good mods that are not too big
i.e. less than 5megs.
