Another dumb question. My thief has 100% lockpick and 65% stealth abilities.
But she can't open locked items. What Special thing has to be done for her to
open locked areas, houses, chests and such?

Has anyone been able to run Shadows of Amn on a machine with WinXP as
the OS?  I can't seen to get it to install.  I keep getting
catastrophic CRC errors when i am installing.  I've seen the CRC error
workaround (tired it and failed) and I am hoping that i dont just have

Read in Dudlryville.com that the ghost of Ulcaster will trade idol and ancient
armor for Vampiric sword. Returned History of Darkness to ghost at night and he
ignores that I have the idol and armor. What do I have to do? And what good is
the sword anyway?

when i reroll my wizard for BG2, i plan to give him a low enough
strength for an encumbrance of 50lbs., which would have been fine in
BG1...i just won't to make sure that this isn't too low for BG2, if
anything has changed that maybe even a wizard would need to carry more

I'm not sure if I asked this before, because it's been awhile. Anyway,
I've finally gotten around to installing (and soon I'll be starting)
SoA. I have the bundle pack, but unlike BG1, this installation doesn't
automatically install ToB.

Can someone point me to a site with AI scripts for IWD. I've only
found some for BG1/2 and incomplete scripts for IWD.

i've noticed that after i save my config settings and exit, then go back
into the config program, some things don't get saved...for example, i
changed the framerate from 30 to 60, but that gets set back to 30; the
'enable brightening' option is always unchecked when i go back; ...

Is the default difficulty level for BG2 "normal" or "core rules"?
