| A question for Mike.... | 24 Jan 2004 00:40 GMT | 7 |
Can you please explain why you feel the need to disrupt the group again? Its been nice and quiet for a couple of months and suddenly you show up again giving it the old "liar, liar, pants on fire" routine.

| BG1Tutu: Does this thing really work? | 23 Jan 2004 16:43 GMT | 7 |
Can I really do BG2 type things in BG1 like dual wield and use kit classes? Sounds too good to be true. Maybe I read the info wrong. Also, can I still reassign weapon pips when moving this character over to BG2? No need for katana weapon pips in BG1.......

| Time Factors | 22 Jan 2004 20:45 GMT | 8 |
Tell me if I'm wrong but I get the impression that as long as you do the right things in the right order BGII doesn't care how long you take? Are there any time-sensitive tasks in BGII?

| Saving Throws | 22 Jan 2004 16:00 GMT | 1 |
Hello, can someone explain me how does Saving throws work please... My guess is that they work pretty much like thac0 and ac. The number in the record page plus (or minus) the penalty (or bonus) is the number you would need to make the saving throw in a 20 sided die... Is that

| Sorceror in BG2? | 22 Jan 2004 13:56 GMT | 22 |
I just played my first Sorceror in HotU (well, I had gone part-way into Chap 2 of NWN OC as Sorceror before HotU, so I leveled from 7 to 15 to start HotU). I really enjoyed that - and playing KotOR I have found myself enjoying the Consular more than the Guardian.

| Pool of Radiance | 20 Jan 2004 18:56 GMT | 13 |
I have just started this game (a gift not my choice) and am hoping it improves. So far I just don't like it - as opposed to playing beaut games like BG 1 & 2, NWN and Icewind Dale. Have many people in this group played the game and if so what do they think of it? Is there a

| Pool of Radiance | 20 Jan 2004 01:57 GMT | 13 |
I started playing this game weeks ago and am almost ready to give up. The fighting is so slow and most of the time I get killed anyway. I hate waiting forever for my turn. Presently I am fighting several skeletons who start by lying on the ground and come alive one by one,

| Question about BG1 and BG2 dual class | 19 Jan 2004 03:40 GMT | 5 |
I am thinking about replaying the original Baldur's Gate, build up a good character and export it to Baldur's Gate 2. If I decide to dual-class a character late in Baldur's Gate, what is the outlook for class advancement when the character is exported to

| ! REQ: BGII 2nd CD ISO! | 18 Jan 2004 21:46 GMT | 1 |
I've been trying to reinstall the game, and the second CD must be scratched or something. I just can't get the freaking thing to install, so I'm looking for the 2nd CD ISO, as I can't determine exactly what files are missing, or how to reintroduce them into the damaged CD. So ...

I went to the ub website to download the current release but the webpage says that the last update was in Novemeber and the name of the file is the same as the last. So I'm confused. Was ub updated? Or did someone just forget to update the website? Thanks.
