At the end BG1 TOTSC, I was supposed to kill the big monster summoned by the
cult.  Instead I killed the cult leader first before the monster was
summoned. Now I can't kill the monster and get whatever prize was supposed
to come after that!  Go figure.  Not sure what to do next, I ...

I am in the Fields of Slaughter at the end of Chapter Five and five of
my characters are being instantly eliminated by the Wail of the
Banshee.   Is there some way of combating this spell.   I tried running
back to the entrance in the hope of leaving M'darfein far enough behind

I just re-installed the first Baldur's Gate and I'm having a
blast going through it again. Are there any fun downloads out
there, the way there are for BG2?

However, since I had a romance going with Aerie, Bodhi took her and
seems to have made her evil. Is there any way to get her back?

In BG2 I'm playing a Paladin called Sir Otto van Kenobi.
Being a Lawful Good Paladin I ratted on Jan Jansen.
As a Star Wars fan I found Jan's reaction exteremly amusing:

I got the message that everyone in my party can level up. I picked
everything for everyone else and it went as it should. But for Yoshiro
the ACCEPT button is greyed out and I can't save the changes or get

Searching through my old 3.5" floppies, I found the coverdisk from the first
PC-related magazine I ever bought! Dated November 1993... and the PC was a
birthday present in September of that year, so that means it is my 10th PC
anniversary! By God, it certainly doesn't feel that long ...

Nobody yet made a Heart of Fury patch for BG2? It will be fun to
re-import all those level 20-30 characters at the end of ToB and
replay the game with all the neat high level abilities.

The ambient (background) sound in the outdoor areas of Athkatla keep
cutting out whenever I go into a building and back outside again. Only
way to get them back is to quicksave, then quickload. Any way to fix
this? I am running the latest version of the game and the latest
