| what's,with all the unidentified, dangerous areas in bg2? | 15 Sep 2003 08:58 GMT | 3 |
hi, i was wondering what's with all the unidentified, dangerous areas? liek the guarded compound in the temple district, and several doors in the bridge district (one of which you need a rogue stoen to get in). They don't seem to be part of any quests, so are they just there for ...

| twisted rune in bridge district | 14 Sep 2003 18:16 GMT | 1 |
hi, in the bridge district in bg2 if you have a rogue stone you can encounter some "twisted rune" bad guys, i defeat them, but here doesn't seem to be a way to leave the area and get back to the bridge district....

| IWD2 Max Level | 14 Sep 2003 13:29 GMT | 7 |
The XP cap, is, of course, level 30 (435,000) but I'm wondering how high you can actually expect to get with a party of 6. (I like to be thorough, so that's worth a little extra XP.) I checked out a character development guide on Gamefaqs, and the author suggested that a party ...

| The Romances in BG2 | 13 Sep 2003 22:04 GMT | 22 |
Well, I've done 'em all now... some several times, but now I've done them all through Throne of Bhaal, as well... I guess Aerie is my favorite. Jaheira treats you like she's your mom (and takes too damn long in BG2:SOA to finish!), and Viconia ends up dead in the longrun... really, ...

| BG Cheat ? What's Baldurdash? | 13 Sep 2003 19:49 GMT | 10 |
On BG1, I can't get passed the final battle with Saverok. What does Baldur Dash do? Can it "edit" my characters to heal them and give them extra weopens so I can finally get out of this game? -- Dave

| Help with IWDII | 12 Sep 2003 20:38 GMT | 5 |
Running through IWDII again and have run into a snag. After doing the wandering village quests Isair and Madae show up and try to warn me off. Then they turn some of the villagers into undead of some kind. I then proceed to kill the undead. No problem. After this all of the adult

| Importing question | 12 Sep 2003 18:50 GMT | 1 |
It's been a while since I played and then it was always single player. I had a pretty advanced Paladin with lots of equipment. Now I'm getting into multiplayer with my kids and wondered about importing my old character. Actually I've been able to do it ok, I just wondered if ...

| BG2: Thieving penalties when wearing armor | 12 Sep 2003 16:36 GMT | 9 |
Currently I'm playing a thief and I noticed no penalties when wearing leather or studded leather armor. Although the manual clearly states that wearing armor limits your thieving abilities, I see no differences in the stats windows

| BG2 - How do I connect to another IP ? | 12 Sep 2003 10:44 GMT | 9 |
I know this probably seems like a dumb question to some of you but how do I connect to my kids downstairs computer to play BG2 multiplayer ? I've installed the game on both computers; each computer has it's own cable modem and IP address; I set up a multiplayer session on my ...

| Speaking of Viconia (BG1) | 11 Sep 2003 19:08 GMT | 6 |
I'm running a basically 'good' party through BG1, I rescued Viconia and let her join, everything was fine at first. I loved her dialogue with Xan and Kivan, but she started complaining when our rep started getting high and eventually left. I didn't want to start committing out of ...

| neutral Viconia? | 11 Sep 2003 18:19 GMT | 3 |
I saw somewhere mentioned that Viconia can change to neutral alignment. Is that true and what exactly causes this? I've never saw this happen in the game. Undo

| BG1: Any way to change the fighter icon to a mage icon? | 10 Sep 2003 15:40 GMT | 2 |
By icon I mean your character in the play window, not his portrait. I created a level 1 fighter, and dualed him to a mage at level 2. I wanted a 'pure' mage with the ability to use bows. But the character is still using the fighter icon. So when he wears mage robes he just

| [IWD2] First attempt... | 09 Sep 2003 19:39 GMT | 7 |
And I'm wondering: do I need to have an arcane spellcaster in my party right from the start? One didn't really need them early on in IWD1 (or indeed BG1) but they came in useful later. (I also particularly suspect that the Thief/Mage multi-class 3rd-ed
