When you do the selfish test the good way is sacrifice
something of yourself  (among 1 DEX), the evil way is
to sacrifice a party member. When you're soloing, can
you still choose the evil way?

The sub quest to restore Yakman to sanity isn't working. I've tried cure
medium wounds, cure serious wounds, lesser and greater restoration, all with
no effect. Am i just going to have to forget it?

I am playing through the TotLM right now (IWD-HOW, of course), and I
am down in the bowels of some place or another where I cannot rest.  I
ended up using a Haste spell to take out a bunch of unusually tough
Minotaurs (I'm using the highest difficulty setting this side of HOF).

Has anyone written a tool or mod to manage playing multiple games
through and grouping all the save files?
By that, I mean, say I wanted to play the game through with a Kensai
that I dual to mage, and through again as an evil theif. I want

Awhile back, I was playing the Kensai / Mage combo through BG2 and made it as far as ToB
before I stopped playing. The character simply wasnt 'fun' enough. I did however, love
playing with Jaheira as a Fighter/Druid.
But as Im gearing back up to play through BG2 again, Im thinking ...

Whew! Finally made it to Carceri. I did all the good deeds except one
(I think the Gehreleths killed more than 8 people). My question is
about the Gehreleths though - I have spent the past hour killing them
and Trelons and they don't seem to stop. Plus those two crazy mages

i'm looking for the Baldurs Gate soundtrack for quite a long time now,

This is my 3rd go at this game, I just want to try new things, so I cheated
and gave everyone a pair of boots of speed.  
However, is there a way to also speed up the events in the game?  Such as so
I don't have to wait forever to complete the Harper quest, etc?

If you play a Barbarian, rather than a Fighter, do you still get to assign
up to five pips in a single weapon?

So... About 50 days ago (game time) or two days ago (real time), Dermin said
Jaheira was dead if she didn't go with him.
That's the last thing that happened.  According to every FAQ I can find, the
*very next time you rest*, Jaheira is supposed to go to the Harper Hold.

I remember playing through here the first time through the game and i
had no problems.  The next few times i came up against the old

When they're doing the Portal opening bit they keep turning Hostile. How
Come?.

I want to run BG2 1024 or 1280.  But the Vidtest fails in bgconfig.
1600(!), 800, 640, all OK, but 1024 and 1280 fail!  Radeon 9700 Catalyst 3.6
on Win XP SP1.  3d accell on, 32 bit textures.
