Exacly how is the speed factor working? If one weapon has speed factor
10 and another speed factor 5 is the former weapon twice as fast as
the latter? Since it's speed FACTOR it should work that way, but I
just want to know for sure.

Im currently on the Unseeing Eye Cult quest. I'm in the lair of the main
beholder. Man am I having a LOT of trouble with the numerous types of
beholders I'm running into at every corner.
They get SO many attacks per round at you. I mean, how fair is that? And

Quite a useful combination, particularly against tougher monsters (dragons,
beholders, liches, etc.).

I've just picked up BG2 & ToB again after a few years & am working my way
through them from scratch. Problem is I've forgotten where so much is in
terms of the little fun to do side quests. Is there a comprehensive
walkthrough out there someone could point me to? I'd like to be sure ...

I've turned up and hung out in the #criticalhit forum on mIRCx for a
while, and have been following the progress of the D&D games which
originated there. Everything seems to have stopped, and nobody's
turned up for ages... where is everyone? David? Hannele? Celestienne?

spiders, 2 Diamonds, The thrym extract, the belladonna, the broken

Hi. My party currently is....Me (Monk), Keldorn, Minsc, Jaheira, Nalia,
Haer'Dalis. I'm having difficulty in battles. I'm currently trying to
rescue Haer'Dalis and his buddies.

I installed BG2: SOA but without checking the patches before I installed
TOB, so do I need to uninstall TOB, patch SOA, reinstall TOB, patch TOB or
I can just install the TOB patch on top of both? I'm playing the SOA part
of the game, if it makes any difference.

Any suggestions? These bastages give me the hardest time and I can
never kill the whole pack. They cast a hold spell on one or more of
my party of 6 and they will always die. What can I do?

Hi;
Recently 'inherited' a BG set, and have started at ToSC and lurked for
awhile to get the 'jargon'. Hope I get it right, let me know if I do not.
I played using Kagain for a while, even though my party is mostly good.

After finishing IWD(+HoW), and BG2 for the gazillionth time I downloaded
ToTLM to "further my experience of RPG-ing".
Okay, so now I got all those scrolls that tell the tales of Sirs
what-do-you-call-them and practically wiped through the whole dungeon
