| The cost to refuel a Catalina | 03 Dec 2008 19:31 GMT | 6 |
Just watching Loek's Catalina blog and I came across this under Nov. 22: They paid "US4.58 per LT and 900.00 handling in Luxor" (Egypt). The Cat holds 1750 US gal and fuel in Luxor cost $17.32/gallon so a fill up would cost $ 30,310.00 USD.

| Toe in the overclocking water | 03 Dec 2008 08:26 GMT | 6 |
Hi Team I am just thinking about slightly over clocking the Core 2 Duo E9500 (native 3.2 GHz) to say 3.6Ghz. I do not want to stuff the machine of course. Is this safe? Is it worth it for FSX? I get pretty reasonable performance but

Just downloaded a Carenado model and want to change the registration. I have done this before can't find/remember where you can do that. I know it also changed the way the controller spoke but checked all through ATC, aircraft etc. and either am missing it or it never existed ...

| Cessna 172 drifts | 02 Dec 2008 20:03 GMT | 6 |
Very simple, very basic question. A pilot friend of mine just learning to fly FS tells me that after climbing and leveling off, his Cessna 172 tends to drift (turn) to the left --- maybe 10º every 10 seconds. Could it be that his power is set to full and the prop

| Turning off AutoPilot at altitude | 02 Dec 2008 13:58 GMT | 10 |
This is something I've only noticed recently. In the Beech Baron, for example, I set the AP to climb and hold an altitude of, say, 8,000 ft. (at 900 ft/min). I activate AP soon after take off (on climb-out). Upon reaching 8,000 feet (in this example), I turn AP off and the plane ...
