When I click the FSX icon on my desktop (Dell Windows Vista Basic) I get
the FSX logo screen in good time.  After that it takes about 15 minutes
to get the menu.  Is that normal?

When I load a flight in FSX, I get a  colored line on the top of the screen
that writes
"Aircraft model not defined" this displays for a few seconds and then
disappeares.

As there has been a few discussions recently regarding X Graphics I
thought I would take a snapshot from my flight out of EGLL using the
amazing PMDG 747-400X (British Airways livery) with Active Sky X and X
Graphics.

Would somebody please e mail me this file  fs9updateuninstall.exe   as
it got deleted from my HD when I had to uninstall FS9 after a crash.
Yes I forgot to uninstall the patch and the new install now tells me
it's installed, hence I cannot get the uninstaller.

I recently rediscovered my favorite computer sim, Tracon.  I used it in
college, the college used it for ATC training.  I loved it, that was several
operating systems and PCs ago.  I've been able to get Tracon II (or Tracon

seems to be more active, however, so I'm hoping someone here might be able to

I would like to know the opinions of the group re sound for FSX. I
currently have a SoundBlaster Live! card which is fairly old, and
don't know whether to buy another card or use on-board sound.
