If the Australians on this group will just restrain themselves, I'd like
some advice about lubricating my stick.
As I'm sure many of you are aware, the CH Products USB yoke has no
neutral detent and the yoke itself is stiff to move in and out..This

Well, I will soon be upgrading my PC and will probably get FSX. So
having read here about the way FSX works, I am looking at getting a
reasonably grunty processor. I am not able to build for myself so

After downloading SP1 for Flight Simulator X, I run the fsx_sp1_ENU.exe and
it begins extracting.  Then it fails with the message "Extraction Failed.  
The parameter is incorrect."  Nothing more.

Why can't I nudge my seat up to see forward like I did in 2004. I find
the same settings in 2004 but they don't seem to work.

Just installed flight sim deluxe edition but it fails to start.
It loaded ok from the two cd,s ,accepted the product key ok.The opening
screen comes up ok and then a box comes up saying that an error has been
detected and the program must close.I then went to uninstall but took ...

Does anyone have any thoughts/experience using the Thrustmaster Cougar
HOTAS? Does it work with the CH or Saitek rudder pedals. I currently have a
Saitek X-52, have had the X-36 and Sun (??) HOTAS in the past (still have
both). Is anyone using the Cougar currently?

Hi helpers
I am taking group advice and getting a machine built. Question 1: Any
point in a Quad processor like the Intel 9550? The guy at the shop says
the Core 2 Duo E8400 will perform like a blitzer and is good value.
