After downloading SP1 for Flight Simulator X, I run the fsx_sp1_ENU.exe and it begins extracting. Then it fails with the message "Extraction Failed. The parameter is incorrect." Nothing more. I've tried the download link from Microsoft Download Center and the link at

Does anyone have any thoughts/experience using the Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS? Does it work with the CH or Saitek rudder pedals. I currently have a Saitek X-52, have had the X-36 and Sun (??) HOTAS in the past (still have both). Is anyone using the Cougar currently?

Hi helpers I am taking group advice and getting a machine built. Question 1: Any point in a Quad processor like the Intel 9550? The guy at the shop says the Core 2 Duo E8400 will perform like a blitzer and is good value.
