X-Graphics vs GEX/UTX05 Aug 2008 21:09 GMT4
Was reading a post about weather, and rather than change the subject 1/2 way
thought I would post a seperate question.
I've been using Ground Environment X and Ultimate Terrain for FS/x and

back home05 Aug 2008 20:20 GMT8
I would be surprised if anyone noticed my sojourn in Italy, but the good
news is a shop there has undertaken to sell some of my paintings --

In the meantime, our house is still standing even though my son was in

Hi simmers: According to what I have read online, you can save the game files before you uninstall the program. I tried that and even backed up the main rewards and mission files to a flash drive.
After the game was reinstalled the only rewards shown were those for numbers of ...

Real Weather - What do you guys use?04 Aug 2008 09:59 GMT15
I fly with real weather all the time.
First off FSX thinks my City is polluted... much like the pics we are
getting from China for the games.  What's with that?  I fly with the traffic
helicopter (real, on TV) and I'm looking through smog and on the TV the City

I ordered this 'keyboard mod' and it adds another notch

Start FSX in flight03 Aug 2008 23:31 GMT1
Is there a way to start FSX in flight. I want to practice landing and don't
want to have to go through the time/trouble of taking off somewhere to do
so. TIA
Acceleration problem03 Aug 2008 22:00 GMT8
Hi, folks. I did a Google search but couldn't find a solution to
this problem.
I had FSX installed, with SP1 from the MS site. I had to load it
a couple trimes due to the activation problems. I solved that,
Add-on with instrument panel03 Aug 2008 19:51 GMT4
Have been flying for a while now, but one thing that constantly bothers me
is that it's sometime difficult knowing the status of different switches.
For example if the lights are on (landing, cockpit, etc), if the seat belt
sign is on and all these small switches. Most of them ...
control choices?03 Aug 2008 19:07 GMT7
Please forgive the newbie questions and feel free to direct me to a FAQ.
I am interested in something a bit more modern the my MS 98 flight sim run on
my keyboard, and want XP compatible software that would allow me to prep for
flight school in either the US or the UK. I would ...
FS/x problem (and fix)03 Aug 2008 18:17 GMT11
FS/x started to 'stutter' when I changed views, and was really slow to load
or change startup screens.
I checked Control panel - Event Viewer and found  "EVENT ID 59 - Side by

Texture loading problem03 Aug 2008 15:25 GMT6
I have been experiencing a problem with FS9 for a few weeks now which is
both mystifying and bugging me and I'll bet no one else has experienced it!
It is to do with texture loading and as I don't know enough about the inner
workings of progs like FS or Win XP I thought I'd ask ...
WideViewAspect setting - thanks03 Aug 2008 10:48 GMT3
Someone posted a tip here, a few days ago I believe, on the WideViewAspect
setting in FSX, being set to false by default.
I happened to be out of town when I saw that, and just remembered it this
morning, went into my fsx.cfg file and changed it to True, I certainly like
