Some will remember my posts a few months ago - regarding the mod I did to a Nimbus Broomstick and converted from a very slow speed model to a Mach 5 speed demon. In much the same silly vein I have been working on a flying carpet that

Just replaced my HDD in my XP Pro SP3 system and am now trying to reinstall FS9. The installation does fine with the first three disks, but then slows to a crawl on the fourth. Yesterday, after getting to disk 4 on the installation, I let it run for 16 hours and it only made it ...

| FSX on Vista | 11 Jul 2008 20:20 GMT | 6 |
OK, I've just loaded FSX but nothing shows in the start menu. I remember someone else complaining about this but I can't remember the answer. All help will be greatfully accepted. I tried running it from the FSX folder but it's complaining about no DX 9.
