Flying Carpet13 Jul 2008 23:41 GMT8
Some will remember my posts a few months ago - regarding the mod I did to a
Nimbus Broomstick and converted from a very slow speed model to a Mach 5

So what's the best, fastest video card out there now that can make our Kiwi
Can't Install FS913 Jul 2008 02:43 GMT7
Just replaced my HDD in my XP Pro SP3 system and am now trying to reinstall
FS9.  The installation does fine with the first three disks, but then slows

installation, I let it run for 16 hours and it only made it ...

I am about to upgrade from FS9.1 and my question is
what screen ratio is FSX designed to be displayed at?
I have a CRT whose max res is 1600x1200. Is FSX
meant to be used with the same res settings as FS9.1?

Can the Pro version of the Saitek X52 replace the normal version without any
changes in software (drivers, etc.)?  I don't like to install new software.
FSX on Vista11 Jul 2008 20:20 GMT6
OK, I've just loaded FSX but nothing shows in the start menu. I remember
someone else complaining about this but I can't remember the answer. All
help will be greatfully accepted.
I tried running it from the FSX folder but it's complaining about no DX 9.
