| MS Force Feedback 2 Joystick !!! | 25 Jul 2008 05:43 GMT | 13 |
I just bought the above 2nd hand joy stick. The seller told me to use it without loading its driver. I did and it works in MS FS 2004, but I do not feel any force though. Should I feel some vibrations or what ? Or there is some thing wrong

| Sort OT - ERUNT | 24 Jul 2008 23:21 GMT | 2 |
I've been using a registry back up utility called ERUNT since I built this computer. But a recent check shows a folder called ERDNT with 11 gigs of folders that ERUNT has been backing up for several years.. It doesn't seem to want to

Hi, I have installed the Acceleration Pack for Flight Sim X and now find that load missions or free flights takes >5minutes for loading scenery etc. Prior to installing the acceleration pack it was usually <30seconds. I tried uninstalling fsx and acceleration and reinstalled. ...

| Some More (Dumb?) FSX Questions | 24 Jul 2008 17:47 GMT | 3 |
I have problems with the autothrottle and the TOGA settings sticking which prevents me from slowing down the aircraft sufficiently for a safe landing. Do these items work independently and how should they be used with the autopilot? What needs to be functional to slow the plane ...

| PING: The Old Bloke | 24 Jul 2008 15:27 GMT | 4 |
I believe you're a bit keen on the Avro Vulcan. In alt.binaries.pictures.aviation there have been a number of postings of the Vulcan taken recently at Farnborough. Apologies if you already have these. :-)

| CH Yoke | 24 Jul 2008 02:36 GMT | 4 |
Just got my first yoke; really enjoying it. I have a question about the two levers beside the throttle; The middle I use on the ground as a steering wheel when flying heavies. I don't know what it does in the air.

After having a wonderful vacation in British Columbia for the past 12 days, I'm glad to be back in Toronto (mainly because it's home). Even if you didn't miss me, I really did miss the group, especially while viewing the aircraft at CYYZ and CYVR (Vancouver). Although I

| Speaking of LCD monitors... | 23 Jul 2008 22:31 GMT | 8 |
I've been using two colossal IBM 21" CRT monitors for my FS9 and FSX simming. They're as cheap as dirt to buy secondhand these days. I've enjoyed their clarity, colour stauration and the stability of the visuals. But desktop space being at a premium, I've begun to think about a ...

| Cockpit black panel | 23 Jul 2008 18:53 GMT | 5 |
I thought I had the issue of AA in FS9 and/or graphics card sorted. So I tried maxing out nearly all the FS9 scenery display settings. Then, when I selected AA in FS Display/Hardware, there was no instrument panel, but the bottom half of the screen was solid black. If I ...

| FSX NOT hosed!!! Woopee! | 23 Jul 2008 17:54 GMT | 3 |
For those trying to help me, thank you. I was going to uninstall FSX but prior to making that happen, I decided to uninstall, via Control Panel,Add/Remove, all the add-ons I had put into FSX. I then used a Registry Cleaner , and then for grins, fired up FSX. It worked
