Does it matter which browser is installed? Am thinking about trying Firefox
to see what everyone is shouting about. What will happen with FSX if
anything? Thanks

FS Commander question: aircraft load parameter24 Jun 2008 12:33 GMT2
In the FlightSim Commander program, used for flight planning, there is
an option in which you can edit/add aircraft parameters in a database,
the "Aircraft Window". However, I don't understand what one of the
parameters is for.
New Computer (and No Joystick)24 Jun 2008 11:01 GMT8
I just put together a new computer, finally.  It has a Core2Duo 3.0GHz chip,
4 GB RAM, and an nVidia 8800GT video card (512MB).  It is a big upgrade from
my old computer (P4 1.4GHz, 512MB RAM, nVidia GeForce 5700VE)!  I tested it
out in Seattle (FS2004) with most of the sliders ...

Disk Cleanup: Compress Old Files23 Jun 2008 16:00 GMT6
I use the Disk Cleanup System Tool before disk defrag. The Compress Old
Files checkbox is checked, so old/not-accessed-since files are compressed
during the cleanup operation. Will this significantly affect FSX performance
if many of the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft ...

Father's Day present - MAAM TBF22 Jun 2008 23:31 GMT9
Well, the #1 daughter gave me a certificate for the Mid-Atlantic Air
Museum's recent new release of the Grumman TBF. She has given me the B-25
and the R4D in the past and as far as my experience they are excellent both
visually and performance wise. I should have it in the next ...
Wilco A38022 Jun 2008 22:47 GMT6
Having purchased most of Wilco's products, because I think their airbus
series was pretty damn good, I have been very impressed.  So naturally, I
couldn't wait for the A380 to come out thinking it was going to be one hell
of an add on.  As soon as it was released, i bought it.  ...

Changing Installations22 Jun 2008 15:40 GMT4
I had FS9 installed on a portable Passport drive which crashed. I went
through a re-install of FS9 on my fixed drive. However, when I try to
boot or reboot, FS9 cannot find my Default aircraft and freezes up.
I've looked in FS9.cfg but find no help. The Default.pln, wx, etc
