19R changes to 19C at KIAD27 Jun 2008 23:59 GMT8
Over the past two weekends, inbounds have been cleared to land 19 Center
as heard on the tower frequencies. Turns out a NEW runway is being con-
structed at KIAD, scheduled for completion in NOV 2008.

Buzzing27 Jun 2008 23:48 GMT20
Flying low is considered dangerous.  You should always try to give yourself
a chance to glide to an off field landing site should you lose your engine.
But it so damn fun!
Yesterday, I gave myself a treat and buzzed the lake at 500'.

Flight stick27 Jun 2008 23:01 GMT7
I have used a Logitec Extreme 3D PRO for a few years.  It has now gone feet
up insofar as to keep a strait line down the runway, unless you pull the
column hardover to the left, the A/c goes round in circles!  Re-calibrating
gets nowhere.  I purchased a replacement Logitech but ...
FSX logbook doesn't keep entries...27 Jun 2008 22:21 GMT6
I am running FSX Deluxe and my logbook is zeroed out each time I close the
simulator.  The "Awards" tab works just fine but not the "Logbook".  I have
removed and reloaded FSX and it didn't help.  Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
water runways27 Jun 2008 22:12 GMT4
I have just created a flight in fs2004 from Juneau int. (PAJN) Alaska, and
was given the choice of either land or water runway for takeoff.
I would like to know if anyone could tell me how to find a list of other
ports that would give me the same choice.
cause of B-2 crash identified27 Jun 2008 16:34 GMT5
AWST in the June 9th issue reports that the cause of the B-2 crash in
Guam has been indentified as a known problem with air pressure sensors
that are overly sensitive to moisture. This problem was a known since
2006 and could easily be overcome by turning on the pitot heat prior

Anyone fancy a trip to Iran?27 Jun 2008 04:16 GMT3
For anyone who loves 707s, this sounds a real treat. Especially given
that, in addition, every time I fly over Iran I do so with my nose
pressed up against the window: awesome scenery (even missed the drinks
trolley once I was so absorbed!).
Video Replay27 Jun 2008 00:57 GMT1
I have FSX and I noticed that when I record a video and upon replaying it, I
noticed that the aircraft wheels, flaps and beacon are not showing up even
though they are down.
I am also having a hard time figuring out what intervals to set the video
