Various questions...17 May 2008 16:42 GMT7
Since I´m having the big picture about flying in place, the questions about
the small details begins to emerge....first of all..
1: If I wants to do things correctly, when is the right time to activate the
flaps??....I usually do it, when initiating the descent-phase..
EXTRA 2 Megs Worth it ????17 May 2008 16:33 GMT11
I have a P4 3 HP with presently 2M memory and a stock 128 M Sapphire card.
I've gotten FS2K4 to the point where it runs pretty damn good.
With FSX however, the flights in general seem smooth and fluid until
landing- then the instant replay becomeds jerky and almost a slide show.
2nd monitor17 May 2008 10:19 GMT4
I am using one port of my display card to connect to a monitor for FS9.
Q1)  I am thinking if it is possible to connect another monitor into the
2nd port of the same display card so that the scenery goes to the 1st
monitor and the instrument panel somehow will go to the 2nd ...

calibrated, I enter the simulator and when I advance the throttle and retard
them again the power remains at about 50 %.....it has never done that
before...can´t figure out what is happening........I  admit, it´s ...

Rethinking video bandwidth16 May 2008 22:57 GMT9
Most of us have come to believe that CPU power is the biggest
influence on frame rates. Therefore I'm surprised to see the results
of a recent test by THG Germany which showed that video bandwidth does
have a rather dramatic affect, at least on FSX. Much more than on

I am a user of Microsoft train simulator. Lately I am realizing that to add
any additional content it is necessary to be expert enough in the topic.
In my opinion the trainz simulator seems to me to be much better 2006. I
would like that Microsoft or kuju they were devoting ...

OK!  Where's the Moon??16 May 2008 11:37 GMT4
I have had fond thoughts for a week or two now - I have always wanted to see
a full moon rising over the Pacific Ocean.
So armed with a bit of basic info I set off to achieve the dream.
1.   Checked the current calendar for the next full moon - next one this

not one MS FSiM15 May 2008 20:13 GMT15
I was at Fry's Electronics yesterday getting a car radio installed so
to kill time I went inside to check out some flight sims.  I noticed
there was not one MS sim.  I asked the clerk where were the MS sims.
He said that they were sold out.   C'mon, not even one FSX?  Nothing.
