Since I´m having the big picture about flying in place, the questions about the small details begins to emerge....first of all.. 1: If I wants to do things correctly, when is the right time to activate the flaps??....I usually do it, when initiating the descent-phase..

| EXTRA 2 Megs Worth it ???? | 17 May 2008 16:33 GMT | 11 |
I have a P4 3 HP with presently 2M memory and a stock 128 M Sapphire card. I've gotten FS2K4 to the point where it runs pretty damn good. With FSX however, the flights in general seem smooth and fluid until landing- then the instant replay becomeds jerky and almost a slide show.

| Rethinking video bandwidth | 16 May 2008 22:57 GMT | 9 |
Most of us have come to believe that CPU power is the biggest influence on frame rates. Therefore I'm surprised to see the results of a recent test by THG Germany which showed that video bandwidth does have a rather dramatic affect, at least on FSX. Much more than on

| not one MS FSiM | 15 May 2008 20:13 GMT | 15 |
I was at Fry's Electronics yesterday getting a car radio installed so to kill time I went inside to check out some flight sims. I noticed there was not one MS sim. I asked the clerk where were the MS sims. He said that they were sold out. C'mon, not even one FSX? Nothing.
