Resolution problem with Vista Ultimate and FS 200407 May 2008 14:56 GMT10
New Dell XPS 420 with ATI Radeon 2400 Pro video card. Using FS 2004, now get
a message (white letters in a solid blue box) every few minutes telling me to
change resolution to 1280x1024.
Resolution IS SET for 1280x1024, can't eliminate the message. Covers the

Is it possible to develop a GPS flight plan in FSX starting and ending from
the
same airport. I tried it but could not find the red route line to expand it
to other way points.
Just a little something for you today to take up a few minutes :-)07 May 2008 01:05 GMT1

spec athlon 3500(2.2ghz) 1gb ram, nvidia geforce 7600gt(256mb), hdd only 80gb

question is why does my system now take forever to ...
Airliner oxygen system05 May 2008 23:16 GMT16
Hey gang,
I was just watching Aircrash Investigation on NGC and I was left with a
question regarding the oxygen system. There was a fire in the cargo bay and
the thick, almost toxic smoke, filled the cabin.
My first international flight05 May 2008 23:05 GMT16
Hey gang,
I have finally, completed my first international flight, I have now
officially gone global!

Macs as flightsim platforms05 May 2008 21:59 GMT4
This topic may have been traversed before, in which case I apologise.
I'm a Mac man at heart. I use PCs only because my University uses
nothing else, and because this has been the heartland of flightsim
technology for so long.

Chris: Thanks for that FS 2004 file. It works well with my current Dell
computer.
In a few days I will have a new Dell XPS 630 with 2 Nvidia Geforce 8800GT
cards in SLI configuration. I hope to install FSX Deluxe and set it up with
Back to the sim.05 May 2008 20:25 GMT20
Just fired up my FS9 for the first time since re-installing it, and
jumped in the (default) 737-400 for a quick test flight from Avalon to
Melbourne.
I have no idea what I used to have my settings on before, to get the
Interesting FSX Behavior05 May 2008 17:20 GMT3
I like to end my flights in FS9 and FSX by taxiing to the fuel station,
shutting the aircraft down, and opening the aircraft doors or canopy. For
the longest time I could not figure out why, in FXS, that after opening the
doors or canopy, the exit would immediately slam shut ...
FSX Views05 May 2008 15:04 GMT2
Is there a way to center the view, when I look to either side I can not
re-center the view, the only way that I found is to use the NUMPAD 5, which
make me look at the cushion on the seat and then slowly move up, in about 3
to 5 try I can have the view almost centered

FS2002 Ghost runway & disappearing asphalt04 May 2008 15:32 GMT6
I gave my home airport EFHK some eye candy and boy, it looks nice. The
only problem is that the runway 22R now appears double (before the
installation it wasn't there at all, as the MS original is out of
date) with the runways side by side, with some overlap.
FS Widgets GMaps04 May 2008 02:34 GMT4
AVSIM featured an item today on FSWidgets, using a moving map from
Google Maps. Freeware.
The price was right. My initial download didn't perform, and customer
service at FSWidgets in Oz-land was absolutely superb analyzing and
