Another view Q's06 Apr 2008 22:45 GMT29
In FS9:
1) How do you make "Tower view" view things from the tower, instead of being
some random placed ground based observer? After my last reinstall of every
thing, my "Tower view" is placed every where but the towers.

FS9 Flight Plan Won't Print06 Apr 2008 20:42 GMT9
When I hit "Print" on the Navlog screen the print icon depresses but
the flight plan doesn't print.  It doesn't appear in the printer queue
so the problem is not with the printer.  Has anyone else experienced
this problem?  It is just one of a host of problems I have experienced
Autoland06 Apr 2008 13:07 GMT10
Is there any way to set up autolanding for any aircraft in FS9 or FSX? I
remember there was a LandMe function in an earlier version that brought the
plane in safely when you couldn't. Thanks. ns
FSX Acceleration pack06 Apr 2008 04:14 GMT6
We have been using FSX. Then we tried to install the acc pack. Now it will
not start. It gives use a warning about our video memory and shader modle
We have a D946GZIS mother board with built in sound and video.

Not happy, part 2!06 Apr 2008 01:35 GMT8
After tinkering about with all sorts of settings I still have problems with
FSX. External frame rates are now more than acceptable but the sim almost
grinds to a halt in any cockpit view. Some aircraft like the Hornet and
default 737 are ok but 3rd party add-ons seem to be the ...

In the southern portion of the Ukraine there is the Crimean peninsula.
I've always wondered why there are no rivers there called the Crimea River.

500Gig's & NOWHERE TO PUT MSFSx05 Apr 2008 21:18 GMT4
I just subscribed to this group because I need more help than I think.
I used to write a little code back in the ARPNET days and for awhile
longer, until a cerebral stroke rebooted my harddrive and scattered
anything of any value all over the place.
As real as it gets05 Apr 2008 16:36 GMT7
Well that's what it says on the front cover of my FS9 CD set, and that's
what I want it to be, some times.
I've found a nice reason for you all, to go to Eourope, at least in the FS9
Sim world :o)
FSX will not start05 Apr 2008 14:47 GMT7
I have just installed FSX on a computer which meets all the system
requirements, but when I attempt to start it, I get an error message saying
"Flight Simulator cannot run because it could not write FSX.CFG."  I have
looked for said file, and cannot find it either on the computer ...
See what I mean?05 Apr 2008 09:17 GMT24
With FSNav & PMDG now OK, flying happily to KSEA. Press Shift+Z to get
some info up and pow: screen freezes, can't even get out of FS with
Ctrl+Alt+Del. Have to force power off to reboot.
Event viewer shows FS9 error - g2d.dll... That old chestnut.
Should be better05 Apr 2008 08:55 GMT3
The Microsoft flight sim x has alot to recommend it but it, unfortunately,
plays too much like a video game.
Pariticularly the missions. Why do we have to endure a plane that constantly
drifts left but aren't given any rudder trim controls?
QNH10xx05 Apr 2008 05:35 GMT3
In FSX, when ever I am lower than 10000 foot, all the radio communication
end with QNH10xx , what is it

FSX RealAir Spitfire05 Apr 2008 02:37 GMT26
Its been released, and its even better than the FS9 one was.
This time, you get the Mk IX and the MK XVI, as well as the Mk XIV, and
they all come with @D cockpits this time, as well as the Virtual cockpits!
   The definitive Spitfire for FSX.
