Any chance of retrofitting more fuel efficient engines onto this puppy
and getting it back into the air?
I realize other factors are involved also......

FS2002 and flight altitude recognition17 Mar 2008 20:32 GMT11
I have been flying domestic flights in Finland for some time now. I
use the Flight Planner to create a flight between, say, EFJY and EFHK,
and I get assigned an altitude of 8000 ft for the flight. Fine so far.
But when I take off, and have barely scraped up to 2000 ft, the ATC

Re-Draw problem solved17 Mar 2008 12:51 GMT8
Fellers and Girls,
The problem I had with certain parts of the instrument panel
disappearing after I toggled thru the views and back to VC was
something different than I initially thought.  The FS Autostart did
Choosing a cruise Altitude17 Mar 2008 01:17 GMT13
One of you bright chaps will probably know the answer to this one.
I had a brief discussion on the Dreamfleet 727 support forum about how
to select a cruise altitude. We established after a few minutes with
some performance charts and a spreadsheet that yes, the optimum
Problem  with Abacus FS Repaint17 Mar 2008 00:25 GMT2
I downloaded the demo version of Abacus FS Repaint for FS2004.
Download & install seemed to be ok, but when attempting to run the program I
get this cryptic error message....
FSREPAINT.exe - Illegal System DLL Relocation
FSX: Problem with in-game dialog boxes16 Mar 2008 22:00 GMT5
I can't seem to get the in-game dialog boxes to work. For example, when I
press the "ESC" key, I should see a box to resume, end and quit the game. I
do not... the game simply pauses and I can press "E" to end or "ESC" again to
resume.
Census question; which flight planners to use?16 Mar 2008 19:19 GMT11
With the demise of FSNavigator being sunsetted by Helge Schroeder, here is
my question to all.
Which Flight Planner are you going to use and why.
Let's start a thread with the positive and negative points of each flight
Flight Simulation PC16 Mar 2008 17:01 GMT2
Does anyone know if such a computer exists?  I see lots of gaming PCs that
are customized for this purpose but I have not seen one specifically called
a Flight Simulation Computer.
If none exist, what you would put into such a machine that would be marketed
Re-Draw failure in VC16 Mar 2008 15:58 GMT10
Fellers,
I seem to randomly have a partial re-draw failure when switching
views.  When I toggle back to VC, some instruments simply do not come
up anymore.  Happening in FS9 and PMDG 737-800

I know that a lot of you simmers do use fsnav and for good reason because
it's
a very good flightplanner. On many flightsim-events , i saw that many of the

Back on track (???)16 Mar 2008 10:38 GMT1
Reinstalled everything over the past 2-3 days and have just tried
flying into VOMM. Back-course onto Rwy07 worked fine (I 'celebrated'
by spending the whole day today fully updating an old FS2000 scenery
for Chennai airport, VOMM for FS9: will upload it to AVSIM sometime
