PC Power Consumption30 Jun 2007 22:05 GMT13
With the increased power requirements for PCs, it makes me wonder how much
longer
before we experience rolling blackouts?  Especially during summer months
when the AC is on..
Yoke/Stick Motion question30 Jun 2007 21:14 GMT19

this vid at the 1:00 mark is "typical" for an approach ??  One of the hard
things about getting this sim thing down is not having a sense of how real
pilots actually fly ... what you see here is a LOT ...
Boeing 737NG Full Motion Simulator30 Jun 2007 17:10 GMT4
We got one too!!
At EHLE (Lelystad), and something tells me that EHAM might be getting

be done right in every respect, before the management would accept it
and consider it completed.  I recall taking pride in the thoroughness
Old fs version question30 Jun 2007 15:27 GMT6
A guy I work with saw some screen shots from FSX this week and mentioned
that he'd always wanted to try a flight sim.  His PC is mid range and as
I doubt he will really get into it (he's doing a degree in the evenings
so his time is limited), I said he could have an old copy that ...

Shockwave P-51 Question30 Jun 2007 00:40 GMT3
Asked this before and must have missed the answer but - using the Shockwave
P-51 - they have the "standard" FSX comm stack with autopilot. The ALT hold
works fine but if I engage the HDG control the a/c will always turn N.
Adjusting the HDG bug has no effect. Not a big deal as ...
