Has anyone else noticed the flood of previously unknown names to this

The release of FS9 just caused all the regulars to double their posting.
FSX seems to be bringing new people into the hobby.

I've been through the settings and view menus but cant seem to see how
you display the height and airspeed on the screen?  I dont need the
cockpit view but it would be helpful to see how fast im going and how
near the ground i am!

I use the IFR Enroute charts, which display Victor Airways (denoted by
V-NNN).  I know there are also Upper airway charts which display Jet airways
(denoted, I think, by U-NNN).

OK, FSX is really throwing me for a loop here, and I know it cannot be the
usual suspects slowing my FSX gaming experience to a halt. Here goes:
