I don't really understand the direct X thing to begin with, but I do see
that cards are rated to work with 9.0c.  will they work with the next
version (10, right?) and will 10 work in XP?
What do we gain with version 10, visually?

Can't operate the fs9 automatic heading device.  Anyone know of a write-up

I know that you can get most channels on the net but there's something

I am looking for a Radio Compass gauge for use with an FS2004 aircraft. I
cannot get the radio compass in the default DC-3 to work in other fs2004
panels.

I'm getting a weird syndrome once in a while.  On a frame rate hog like the
Aeroworx King Air, flying through complex weather my frame rates permanently
deteriorate and I have to restart the sim to get the frame rates back up.
In other words, I'll get 18ish FPS and after 20 ...

There is a picture tutorial at AVSIM which takes you step by step to
make an inexpensive pedal set with brakes. It uses a twist grip joystick
bought at Walmart for $20.00 US

I am using Win XP professional with ADSL+inner home network  connection
And some how I cant open a multiplayer session,
when putting IP in the textbox ( of netwings network or my ip (127.0.0.1) )
and  pressing on  "Search" the "Join" is always staying disabled.

Doing Google search, so far I have only found UK sites taking orders
for FS X, and there is it seems a std and deluxe version. One site
said it is 44 british pounds. Should it just  be ordered direct from
Microsoft?  And is there going to be only one pre-order price?

Dl'd some excellent scenery Easter Island by  David "opa" Marshall
and F14D Tahiti carriers by Steven Hinson.   The scenery works well but I
have no idea what are scenery.dat files or if these are used by FS9.
Does anyone know what these files are and what they do?

Just recently re-installed the DF Archer and wanted to do the "Bandit"
upgrade....Which does not seem to be available anymore on the usual sites.
I did get the A36 one which is configured some different.
