AI aircraft - any small GA?01 Jul 2006 00:13 GMT4
I use a lot of Aardvark and AIS aircraft for AI flights and they seem
to do the job very well without too much framerate impact. Are there
any small GA aircraft (Piper, Cessna, etc) made specifically for AI
flights, other than the default PA28?

Fokker 100 overtaking AI above FL30030 Jun 2006 17:59 GMT4
I was flying to KMDW the other night in my Fokker 100 and could see an AI in
the distance.  I could also see I was gaining on it ever so slightly.  I
assume we were on the same high altitude jetway.  I quickly started Snapper
and caught a few good shots as I approached Landmark ...
Keep FS2000 aircraft in FS2004?30 Jun 2006 17:20 GMT1
I have been using FS2000 but have now purchased FS2004. Two questions:
1. Should I completely remove 2000 before installing 2004? It doesn't say
anything about being an upgrade, so is it a completely "new" product and
should I uninstall the old?
A frightening landing!30 Jun 2006 06:57 GMT4
Just tried the most scary approach I've ever tried - on FS of course.
In August I am flying to Denver and since I've never been in Colorado (but
heard a lot about the Rockies and Aspen, of course), I wanted to explore the
area a bit - before actually goin there.
ECU setting Dash 830 Jun 2006 05:04 GMT3
Tutorials for the PSS Dash 8 show the settings for take-off TOP, climb MCL,
and cruise MCR.  I cannot see any setting for descent and approach.  What
setting should be used for these?  Also when would MCP be used?

key stroke question 737-40030 Jun 2006 02:27 GMT4
Sorry for such a simple question but, can someone tell me the key strokes to
turn off the electronics in the default 737-400?
When I end my flight, I like to power down completely but I cannot for the
life of me remember the command.
Logitec G15 keyboard help.29 Jun 2006 20:33 GMT3
Yeah, I know:  Wrong group.
But I am hoping someone here has one.
The macro keys.  I have a couple of them set for ALL prop pitch and
mixture adjustments so when I am flying a 4 engine bird I can use the
Heading Indicator - Beginner Q29 Jun 2006 20:27 GMT17
Newbie FS 2004.
I take off from Seatac Airport in the Skyhawk. I set the course to 360
(zero) on the Heading Indicator.  After about five minutes, I click Escape,
and review the flight so far.  The map shows the plane flying straight, but
FS2004 - Plane won't take-off29 Jun 2006 20:03 GMT13
Wonder if anyone's come across this before?
Just re-installed FS2004 on my new PC.
Works fine on default aircraft and most of the free downloaded ones but
a couple of freeware ones (Boeing Stratocruiser & Vickers VC10)just
To Iain Smith - regarding ATR 72-50029 Jun 2006 15:26 GMT17
Hi Iain and all other flightsimmers,
I have learned a lot about the ATR since last time, but I´m not quite sure I
understand things correctly regarding those speed bugs...
On page 35 in Tutorial flight 1, I´m supposed to set the speed bugs for

joystick without hardware dead zone?28 Jun 2006 21:07 GMT4
Are there any joysticks on the market that do not have a hardware
dead zone? In other words, when the joystick is centered, do they
all move a little without spring tension?
Thank you.
