Reverse thrusters31 Jul 2004 22:35 GMT7
I know what reverse thrusters do on a jet, but on many large prop planes
when I hit the button I have assigned to reverse thrust I get a loud
"brrrrr" of the engines.  But what is happening here?  Do the props
change pitch to give me the effect, or what?
Etiquette question - advertising multiplayer flights31 Jul 2004 21:19 GMT4
Is it allowed to advertise multiplayer flights on this NG?  I don't want to
upset anyone so I thought I'd ask first.

fs 2004 questions31 Jul 2004 21:12 GMT7
I have a few questions regarding FS 2004.

airport on the west coast. FS 2004 seems to be using my system time to show
the current time at that airport. When I switch to an airport on the east
As Real As It Gets?!?31 Jul 2004 17:35 GMT3
I was coming in to land on a runway where ATC had cleared me, when I
decided to deliberately land on the wrong runway to see if I'd get
scolded.  Nope.  ATC didn't say a word to me, except to tell me to take
the first turnoff and tune to Ground for taxi instructions.
FS9 Rebate31 Jul 2004 16:50 GMT9
Rebate still good for US, Canada and military FPO/APO addresses. Gives
you $20.00 US / $25.00 CDN rebate. Print it out and send it in.

Will they ever just turn off VORs?31 Jul 2004 00:54 GMT38
With GPS units costing less than VOR radios and the industry relying on them
more and more each day, will they ever just pull the plug on those expensive
VOR installations?

have turned on unlimited fuel option) I know that the plane can't fly that
