Has anyone attempted to install and run AOM under Vista OS.  I installed it
but got message that it may not have installed properly.  I tried to run it
and the whole sys crashed.

I have age of empires 1 and 2 and they are my most played games.
I was wondering if aoe3 was as good and if its worth the $100AUD, and also
will it work on Vista Home Premium

    I have AOE2 Trial version.  I am on easiest level and can't forge an
alliance, no matter what I say on the chat screen, or give as tribute, or how
I click the buttons on diplomacy.  Do I have to be on a harder level to make
an alliance?
