How is Age of Empires III multiplayer going? Is it as popular as AoE 2 Conquerors? Do they play any deathmatch? I guess the multiplayer is initiated through the game on Microsoft

Grandson has Age of Empires III, and a brand-new Acer 1.66GHz laptop with 2GB RAM and 64MB video. Any moving scenes have different shades of areas across the screen. The game works perfectly well on this desktop PC Athlon 1.5GHz 512MB RAM 32MB on-board video.
