Anyone here ever play Descent I or II?

While installing AoE 3 on my comp the computer freezes on the third disc.  I
know there is nothing wrong with the disc because i have already installed it
on another comp.

I have a couple problems when running the demo version of the game..  It
installs fine and loads up fine, but when I do anything (beginner, campaign,
skirmish) I:
1.  Cannot view any player objects like characters and people (I can select

It may looks very stupid ...but how to save/load the game state ?? I
could't find this :(

hello people hope some one can help as I know from searching that this is a
common problem. Just at the end of the install I get the following message

i cant exit out of multiplayer menu it just frezzzzes, i try general chat
room 1 it frezzzes, and all the time but not always just as all the

Built a custom two player scenario, basically a "fight for the bridge" style
map wiht a river running midfield and a single shallow to cross.  Problem is
that when playing it as a custom scenario player two just sits there in his
explorer uniform and TC waggon and doesnt do ...

Need a new video card.  Trying to uninstall Age 3 and it won't let me.  Any
ideas?

When I am in the MSN Zone, trying to play this game, everything is fine until
it actually starts the software and then I get a message saying that it is
unable to launch game... ANy ideas how I can fix this?

I can't change the Game Rules to Deathmatch in single player Skirmish.  What
am I missing?

When my AOEIII is just about finished installing, I get an error message
saying:
Error 1935.  Microsoft.MSXML2,publickeyToken = "gbd6b9abf345378f"
version="4.1.0.0" type="win32" processor Architecture="x 86"

I am not sure what the game settings mean or if there is any benefit in
tweaking them.
Does anyone have any suggestions or is the preset the best compromise?

Which one is better? I like Empire Earth 2 because of the variety in ages
and weapons through time.  But, AOE has always been a favorite.  Any
thoughts?

i played many maps in campaign and saved many games. now i have to
reinstall the game on another partition because my old one is full.
how and where are my savegames? which folder or .ini?
i dont want to start the campaign from beginning. i want to continue
