Are classic Atari/Nintendo games available for Gamecube?31 Dec 2006 18:29 GMT2
I haven't owned a gaming system since the SNES, and i don't play games
on my computer.  About twice a year, i go to Dave & Busters, but that's

Nintendo Gamecube.  Both are in my price range.  I don't want an Xbox.

Forecast channel works.  Of course if I would have checked my Wii Mail,
there's a note saying it is now up.

Except for those who have guaranteed preorders, anyone who wants a Wii

cost. Retailers are ONLY selling the excess initial shipment of Wii in

Saturday, so they are evidently through the backorders and are ...
Wii Impressions & Thoughts22 Dec 2006 03:11 GMT7
Not a fanboy in any regards.  I buy what I think will be fun and will
keep my interest.  So I love the concept of the Wii.
HW:
-The Wii itself is slender, quiet, and very nice looking.

Picked up a set of component cables at a local Gamestop today, they

It was suppose to be released tomorrow, I just performed an update and
it's now available to me.... As for the userfulness of using a game
console to get the weather.... it's an interesting idea, if I were in
front of the TV I'd use this feature before getting up and going to my
Wii connection issues19 Dec 2006 15:05 GMT3
Been told today that my pre-order Wii will be in store on Monday. Now
it's definite, I need to look to see what else I need. I have a wired
LAN - is there an adapter available or am I stuck with wireless. If so,
what's the cheapest way - what do I need - to connect wireless Wii ...

Now that Nintendo cancelled production of the Gameboy Player, is there
any option for playing GBA carts on a TV? Will they add this capability
to the Wii somehow?

stating publicly that they believe Blueray is a format being pushed on
consumers by Sony and that it will hurt their sales long term.
