Is there a Mario Kart news group for setting up online play with others?

For those of you looking for other Mario Karters to play against online,
come join my group.
It's doubled up as a Mario Kart online gamers meeting point with chat room
and all.

I was racing in the Special Cup, on the 50cc level, having just unlocked it.
I finished all four of the races in first place, earning the cup (and,
supposedly, unlocking something). However, after the trophy ceremony, the
"Thanks for playing!" sceen came up. As with Nintendo games ...

Lookin into this but is there a fee to play the games online?

is this one any diffrent that the older PC/SEga/SuperNEs one?? or is it the
same game with updated graphics?

I am a twenty two year old gamer. I turn 23 in January.
The last game i purchased was SSX3 for the xbox, and a week prior to that,
Viewtiful Joe for the cube.
